When we talk about List of Values or Lov’s we are referring to your internal business structure and some of your processes.

The lov’s are set up at the start of your ATS configuration however over time there may be a requirement to add to that information.  Perhaps you have acquired new business operations and you would like to add the location as an option to select from when advertising a new role.

An example of this might be when you follow the job create process and select the drop down menu’s which allow you to choose from a predefined list of Locations or Business Units.

To access the lov’s you will need to access the Manage tool and select ‘List of Values’ from the ‘Platform Configuration’ menu.

Once you have selected List of Values you will see the following information;

Down the left-hand side of the screen, you can see each category that is available to you to modify.

In the above example, I have chosen Countries.

To the right-hand side of the screen, you can see a large white text box, this is where you can add your new countries.

You may add 1 or multiple countries when entering more than 1 please ensure you separate them with a semicolon or you can use an alternative separator, but you will need to specify what it is by typing it into the much smaller text box.

Once you are happy with your text, select the icon ‘Add Values to UAT’ and the new value will appear in the list of values that have already been added.

At this point, you will need to ensure that the ‘Visibility’ Toggle shows as ‘Yes’ (you may also choose to hide values by selecting the Toggle to show as ‘No’).

The next step is to push the newly added values to live, this will ensure that the ATS shows the most recent data for you to select.

Once you login to the ATS, you can check to make sure the relevant menu has been updated with the new values.
