Interviews can take a lot of organising so we have tried to make this process as easy as possible for you by adding some additional options on the ‘Interview Slots’ page of the job creation process.

Freezing Interviews

This allows you to select a timeframe which will prevent a candidate from booking or rebooking an interview so many hours before the selected interview is due to take place.

The below screenshot is taken from the final page of the job creation process ‘Interview Slots’, near the top right-hand side of the page you will see some text ‘Freeze interviews 72 hours before’.  This figure is a default setting, if you select the text, the box will open allowing you to change that number to a number that you wish to enter (e.g. 24/48 hours).   Once you have made the change, select save.

Why would I need to freeze an interview?

Here is an example:

Today is Friday and it’s 6 pm, a candidate has already booked an interview for Wednesday at midday for the following week but then decides that they would prefer to take the interview slot for Monday at 9 am.   At this point your working week is complete and you won’t see the rebooking until you arrive at the office on Monday at 9:30 am.   The candidate has been waiting for 30 minutes.    Freezing interviews will prevent this type of scenario.

You will also notice a range of filter options on this page which allows you to look at past, booked, upcoming and all interviews.
