What is Vacancy Poster and how can it help me?

Vacancy Poster is job board posting software that enables a quick and efficient method of posting your vacancies to multiple job boards in a matter of seconds. Vacancy Poster ensures that all jobs posted include a unique ‘client-specific’ URL ensuring all candidate applications are directed by the job board to the correct job page and your application process is adhered to.

We don’t yet use Vacancy Poster, how do we set it up?

The first thing you should do is contact your Account Manager at Tribepad so that an introduction to Vacancy Poster can be organised, your Account Manager will also explain the steps that need to be taken by you from a Tribepad perspective.  Once the introduction has been made, Vacancy Poster will arrange a suitable date and time to talk you through each step of the setup and also provide a demo of how the Vacancy Poster works.

How do I use Vacancy Poster?

Vacancy Poster is fully integrated with Tribepad and so provides a seamless connection from job creation to the posting of the job to your chosen job boards.

Most of the details required for these job boards will be sitting in Vacancy Poster once you have chosen to publish your role. You will have the option of adding your jobs to any of the boards set up for you and a simple ‘click to tick’ includes the board when posting the role out. There may be some additional information to add depending on the boards you choose.

Job Posting Steps

Once you have followed the job creation process within the ATS and you reach the final page, select ‘Next’ and a screen will open up with a number of important fields, some of these fields will be greyed out and this is to prevent accidental changes being made.

The example below shows the Job Posting screen, simply choose the boards that you would like to post your vacancy to.

Some job boards will require additional information, much like the screenshot below.

Once you have posted the job – Vacancy Poster will close and a job post status will return the results
in to Tribepad.

Before doing so a small pop up will appear providing you with immediate post status
results.

*Clicking the FAIL or OK will give you the job board reply

You will see on the above example that ‘Monster’ has failed the job as the ‘Client could not be
authenticated’ (wrong username and password or client account closed at Monster).

1) If a job has failed your company VP administrator can help out with fixing most
issues. If not they will advise if forwarding the FAIL message to Vacancy Poster directly is the correct
thing to do.

Please send the full FAIL message (not the pop-up box) with the job ID to
jobpostfails@vacancyposter.com (Job ID in the subject line)

To obtain the full FAIL message please copy and paste the content from the pop-up
box into the body of the email
