When you log in, the dashboard is the first page you’ll see. It gives you a quick look at the most recent activity in the Careers Centre. You can also easily go to different parts of the Career Centre from here.

I’m having trouble registering because I can’t read the verification code.
Click on the ‘Change the image’ link and try again.

I’m trying to register but didn’t get the email confirming my account. When I tried again, it said my email is already being used.
Check your email’s spam or trash folder. If you can’t find the email, click on the forgotten password link on the login page and follow the steps.

I registered on the website but still haven’t got an email. I looked in my spam and trash folders but there’s nothing there.
Make sure you registered with the correct email address or check whether there could have been a misspelling of the email address when registering. If you’re still having trouble, you can use the “forgot password” tool on the login page.

I already work at Tesco, do I still need to register?
Yes, everyone needs to use the Careers Centre to apply for jobs. Just let us know you already work at Tesco when the application asks, so we know you’re already a colleague.

I’ve forgot my password

Follow the below steps:

  • Your username is the email address you registered with.
    To reset your password click on the ‘Forgot Password?” link. 
  • You will be asked to enter your email address and will be sent a link to change your password.
  • Check your email (look in the junk and trash folders too) and follow the instructions.

Can I email you my CV?
Unfortunately, Tesco are unable to accept CV’s via email. Instead, create your profile here in the Careers Centre and upload your CV to apply for Tesco jobs on our careers website. Check out our exciting live opportunities: http://www.tesco-careers.com/apply.aspx

What does “Complete” job status mean on my dashboard?
Complete means the process is complete. If you didn’t get an interview invite, it means the Hiring Manager reviewed your application but will not be moving forward at this time. Check on your profile to see if any details need updating.

How can I check the status of a job I have applied for?
Once you have applied, go to your dashboard and look in “My job applications”. There, you’ll see the status of your application. If your application is unsuccessful keep visiting the Career Centre to view and apply for our latest available roles.

I accidentally withdrew my application
That’s okay. Send us an email on Resourcing.Team@tesco.comwith the following information and we’ll add your application back into the process:

  • Your name
  • The email address you registered with
  • The job reference number that begins with Tesco/TP/,
  • The issue

The role I applied for is closed and I haven’t had any updates
Don’t worry! Due to the volume of applications we receive, it can take up to 3 weeks to review all of the applications after the jobs closing date, therefore your application might still be in process. They might still be looking through applications and will be in touch soon.

I want to delete my Tesco Careers account.
No problem. You can do this in your settings. Just keep in mind that if you close your account, you’ll lose all of your ongoing applications and can’t get them back. 

I used to work at Tesco and need a reference or employment verification
You can ask for that by emailing External.Enquiries@Tesco.com directly

I want to do work experience at Tesco! What do I need to give you?
Great! Please send an email to Resourcing.Team@tesco.com. We need to know the below:

  • Your name
  • A contact number 
  • The dates you are looking for work experience
  • The name of the store 
  • The postcode of where you want to do your work experience. 

This will help us get things moving for you. We’ll get in touch with you within 2 weeks. 

I’m not sure who to ask about a query I have

Where do I start my “Right to Work” check?
If you’re asked to do a Right to Work check, you’ll find it on your dashboard next to the job. Just click the blue “Right to Work Check” button to start the process.
