Tribepad has a built in Calendar feature which automatically updates as and when you have organised a specific event.
To access the calendar, select the drop down menu from the ‘Jobs’ heading as shown below;
You will be presented with a smaller calendar which provides a snapshot of a full month.
Dates shown in green represent an event, if you use your cursor to hover over that specific date, a pop up will appear with the event details.
You can also enter free text into the ‘Search’ facility shown above, this could be used to filter your calendar to show perhaps a job opening date for a certain role.
The larger full month view, provides more detail, so you can scroll to each date and view the content.
In the example below, an interview is scheduled.
If you would like to see further detail such as who the candidate is, perhaps you may want to refresh your memory by reviewing the candidate profile, use your cursor to select the link.
If you would like to shorten the scheduled event search criteria in the larger calendar, you can enable this by, selecting or deselecting all or some of the check boxes.
We all have different ways of managing our diaries and Tribepad understands that using two or three different calendars to remain organised isn’t a very effective use of time.
The Tribepad Calendar allows you to sync your Google Calendar, this means that any events within your own Google calendar will show in the Tribepad calendar and vice versa.
To enable this function you need to select the ‘Calendars’ drop down menu, select the ‘G’ icon and select ‘Request Access’.
You will be taken to a screen where you will be prompted to select the Google account that contains the Google calendar.
Select the relevant account and you will be presented with the below example, select ‘Allow’.
After this step, you will be fully synced.
Depending on the hierarchy within your organisation and your user access, you may have the option to view the calendar of other colleagues that use Tribepad.
Select the drop down menu from the ‘Calendar’ title and type in your colleagues name in the ‘free text’ box.
Select your colleagues name and their events will appear in your calendar.
The events can be easily identified by a small square icon containing their initials as shown in the example below.
